I first met Dane and Tiesha at a Starbucks in the West End since they were down for a visit to Richmond/Amelia to visit their families! I immediately knew that we were going to be a great fit! Apparently they did too because they signed the wedding contract on the spot! We had talked on the phone several times before our first meeting and we had already realized how easy it would be for us to work together but still – such a beautiful couple and I’m so excited to be a part of their amazing wedding day in April! Stay tuned for those – this beautiful couple and the VMFA – couldn’t ask for much more than that!
We had so much fun walking around downtown to several different murals and a few secret spots near my studio that make for amazing backdrops! Tiesha’s first outfit with the bright yellow dress shirt and those smoking hot boots and Dane in the black sweater required that we visit a few downtown mural spots that included and would compliment those colors! We stopped for a few minutes near Main Street Station as well to grab a few under the train tracks and showing off the urban location for the shoot.
I loved their dressy outfits against some of the more “plain” areas of brick and walls around downtown that allowed the two of them to really be the focus of the image. Tiesha had asked specifically for some “sexier” pictures of the two of them together and while this isn’t my main area of expertise (I’d pretty much call myself ANYTHING but sexy!) I did my best and I’m sure they’re going to love them!
